In an under-construction building, a Vastu case study is unique because it moves from “Diagnosis” (finding flaws in the blueprint) to “Prevention” (making corrections before the concrete is poured).

Here’s a structured case study of a typical 3BHK flat in a high-rise, reflecting the common “success” path for modern buyers.

Case Study: The "Ishana" Correction in a 3BHK Flat

1. The Diagnosis (Blueprint Stage)

A couple purchased an under-construction flat in a premium high-rise. Upon reviewing the floor plan, three major "Vastu Doshas" (defects) were identified:

  • The Entrance: The main door was located in the South-West (Nairutya), which is considered the “entry point for instability” in Vastu.
  • The Kitchen: Placed in the North-East (Ishana). This is a severe defect as it puts the Fire element (Agni) in the Water/Spirituality zone, often leading to health issues and mental stress.
  • The Brahmasthan: A heavy concrete pillar was located exactly in the center of the flat, “choking” the flow of energy.
The "Pre-Construction" Intervention

Since the building was only on the 4th floor and their flat was on the 12th, the couple worked with the builder to make "non-structural" but "energetic" shifts:

  • Door Re-Alignment: While they couldn’t move the actual door frame due to the building’s facade, they used a Vastu Partition. They created a small foyer inside the entrance that redirected the “flow” of people so they entered the living room from the North side of the foyer.
  • Kitchen Swap: They requested the builder to swap the kitchen with the utility room. This moved the stove to the South-East (Agni-Kon) and placed the sink in the East, aligning the elements perfectly.
  • Brahmasthan Lightening: Since the pillar couldn’t be moved, they used Mirrors and Light Colors on the pillar to “virtually” disappear it, and placed Brahma Crystals at its base during the flooring stage to neutralize the heavy pressure.
The Results (Post-Possession)

Two years after moving in, the success was documented through three metrics:

  • Physical Vitality: The family reported fewer seasonal illnesses, attributed to the North-East now being open and clean (capturing UV rays) rather than being a hot kitchen.
  • Physical Vitality: The family reported fewer seasonal illnesses, attributed to the North-East now being open and clean (capturing UV rays) rather than being a hot kitchen.
  • Atmospheric Peace: Visitors frequently commented that the flat felt “larger and airier” than identical units in the same building.
